Addison's First Fourth of July

We started out the fourth by meeting MiMi in Jonesborough for "Jonesborough Days" on the 3rd - kind of sad and disappointing - used to be a really big festival but kind of small this year. It didn't matter to us though b/c we had Miss Addison so lots of fun was still had. She's such a little crowd pleaser that we found lots of people to talk to. Here's little missy in one of her festive dresses.

Every year on the Fourth, Zach's partner Dr Mills, has a party at his lakehouse. It's so much fun - here's a few pics from Addison first Annual trip to the Fourth of July party....

Addison and Mimi

Addison and daddy - she really isn't a big fan of shoes yet, so I had to snap this one fast!

Let the games begin! I don't have any from the "greased watermelon" competition (b/c this year I was participating!) but here's one from our attempt at water tug-of-war.

Their version of "American Gladiator" - basically knock somebody off the piece of foam and you win! The little kids were the most fun to watch - Ella took all the boys down!

Dr Mills trying to cheat..haha!
Nice try babe - maybe next year! :)

A weekend with wonderful friends!

Our sweet friends Blake and Megan came into visit a few weeks ago from Ft Lauderdale. Blake is surviving Optometry school at NOVA - one year down..YEAH! We're trying to talk Blake into doing one of his externships so we can selfishly have them for a few months. We had such a wonderful time while they were here we didn't want them to leave! C'mon guys, just move to Tennessee :)

We took them to an Astros baseball game here in Greeneville - it's lots of fun b/c we can just walk there from our house. Here's Addison with her first baseball :)
Blake and Zach looking suspicious :)

Why am I the sweatiest person in this picture?? Can you tell Addison was exhausted??

By the fifth inning she wasdown for the count. Sweet girl!

Father's Day - wow, I'm behind!

So apparently I'm a "once a month" blogger now! Sorry - I've gotten so behind b/c we've been so busy. Here's some pictures from the last month of so.

My sweet baby girl asleep in her crib
Happy Father's Day!
Zach is such a wonderful daddy - he even gets up to feed her early on Sundays and lets me sleep (even though that's his only day off!) Zach's favorite thing about Addison right now is her "gummy smile" - he doesn't want her to get teeth b/c he loves her toothless smile :)

Part of his gift was a "Baby Bulldogs" onesie for Addison - it even came with a matching bow (of course!)...GO DAWGS!
